A Little Extra Sparkle

Last year's motto was que sera, sera. (I actually learned that tense in Spanish last year.) Personally I think it worked out pretty well. So I had to create another one. And this year is all about staying true to myself.

I am entering my junior year of high school (dun, dun, dunnnnn), and to say the least, I am nervous. My first two years of high school were really good if I do say so my. If I do say so myself. It's hard for me to think about it not going in a similar way for my junior year. These are my last grades that colleges are going to see pretty much, and that's insane to me. Also, I have to take the SAT/ACT this year. WHAT? And apparently Prom is something I get to do to this year. Okay...

Enough about my struggles of being a slight grown up. One of my goals this year is stay myself and continue to "shine." Odd word choice, I know, but I think you get my point. Junior year is stressful enough, and add in the fact that I've been scared of this year since I was 9. (Long, personal story involving the Twins.) I don't want anything to take away my focus/drive and sparkle. (Sparkle Babyyyy.) I just have to trust in God and in myself that everything will go the way it is supposed to even if it isn't in my five year plan. Just keep being sparkly. ;)

Junior year won't bring me down, and I am about to take the bull by the horns.
Let's do this.

I am sorry that I made a lot of cultural references in this. Oops.
