September Favorites

It's October. #whatwhat I am so excited that is October because it is my favorite month. Ever. I love fall, Halloween, and FALL CLOTHING! September, however, was a such an amazing month filled with some craziness and amazing moments. I am one step closer to graduating from high school, and I am so excited because I am already done with senior year. #8MoreMonths...

UGA Game | I spent the first weekend of September with my best friend, Jordan, at Georgia. I visited UGA, but mainly I went to see Jordan and go to the football game. She sneaked me into student section in the end zone, which was really fun since I go to see UGA score up close.

College | I got into college, y'all! I got into Alabama earlier this month, and I finished all my applications for three other schools. It's a huge weight lifted off my shoulders, and I am thrilled that I can now focus on my energy on school.

"One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest"/The High Museum | The Alliance Theater in Atlanta put on "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest," and it was incredible. The run is over, but I recommend seeing anything at the Alliance Theater if you live in Atlanta. I want to go see "Disgraced," which is about the relationship with Muslims in America.

While in Atlanta, my AP Lit class got stuck in Atlanta... Thankfully the Alliance Theater was so amazing and got us into the Museum. I absolutely love the High. I used to spend a lot of time there as a kid. My great-grandfather has a painting there of my grandmother, and I love looking at it because it makes me feel connected to my family. Also Howard Finster's exhibit has always been my favorite thing ever. As a kid, I loved the colors and words, but now I love meaning.

Some time next week, I will post a full Homecoming recap!
