Summer Makeup

As y'all are reading this, I am getting my wisdom teeth out. (!!!) I am not too nervous because nothing will be as bad as my knee surgery/screw removal, and I have been sedated before. I am not excited too only be limited to smoothies and soups. Follow me on twitter for updates about my medicated state. But on a more exciting note, today I am sharing with y'all my summer makeup routine.

Summer Makeup
In the summer, I try to keep my makeup super simple, so 1. I can do it quickly, and 2. I am not sweating it all off as soon as I walk into the disgusting humidity in Georgia. I've talked about pretty much all these products on here at some point, but today I rounded them all up to talk about my makeup routine.

1. I start off with Rimmel's Stay Matte primer. I love using this to create a base that my makeup can cling onto, and it helps even out the texture of my skin. If I am running short on time, this is one step that I will skip, but I do notice a difference when I don't use it.

2. I hate wearing liquid foundation in the summer. Even BB Creams can be too much for me and insanely oily skin, so I use Rimmel's Stay Matte powder. Like I said, I have oily skin, so a powder definitely helps minimize the shiny look that my face can get in the summer. It's not the highest coverage powder foundation, but it isn't sheer or anything.

3. Concealer is basically the one step I always do. I have loved Maybelline's Fit Me concealer so much that I scraping the sides to finish the tube. I use this on any breakouts and under my eyes, and I use my Beauty Blender to blend everything out.

4. Maybelline's Master Graphic eyeliner is one of my all-time favorites. It such an easy eyeliner to put on, but the packaging could be better. For me, this eyeliner lasts pretty much all day without smearing.

5. CoverGirl's LashBlast Fusion is another tried and true favorite that I've been repurchasing for years. It doesn't leave my eyelashes clumpy, but it makes them appear bigger. It helps make my eyes appear a little bigger, which is also nice because whenever I smile, I look like I don't have eyes.

6. At this point, I look a little ghostly, so I use Maybelline's Fit Me Blush in deep coral. It's not a super pigmented blush, which I really like for everyday wear, but it still gives you color. You can easily build up the color if you want a bolder color.

7. Finally, I top it all off with NYX"s Matte Finish Spray, which is my top must-have for summer makeup, and I know I have talked about it way too often on here. There's not a day where I wear makeup and go without this spray.
